Tiny Tot Programs
Tiny Tots is a program designed for boys and girl’s to learn and enjoy sports taught in a 6 week session. This program runs year round with each sport specific to the season and weather. The programs first 3 weeks are instructional and specific to the sport we are teaching. We focus on basic skills and rules of the game. We also work on age appropriate skills such as taking turns, standing in line and following directions.
Ages: 3 – 5
Spring and Fall: Soccer
Summer: T-Ball
Ages: 4 – 6
Fall: Football: This program is designed for 4, 5, and 6 year olds. Instruction will concentrate on the basics such as passing, catching, running and agility. The program will run for six weeks in the Lakota YMCA's gymnasium or behind the facility. Practices will be held once a week during the first four weeks. The season will conclude with two scrimmages on the last two weeks of the program. Scrimmages will be played during class time. All children need to bring a ball.
