Welcome to the Lakota Family YMCA Summer Swim Team
Registration has begun for the 2011 summer swim season. If you missed the open house, stop by the front desk and ask for a registration packed or click on the following link registration packet. Regular registration closes May 9th.
The Lakota Stingrays Summer Swim Team represents the Lakota Family YMCA, located at 6703 Yankee Road, in Liberty Township.
Because we are a YMCA-affiliated team, participants must be members in good standing of the Lakota Family YMCA. While many of our members also belong to the winter swim team, managed by Lakota YMCA staff, the summer team is managed by an independent, volunteer board of parents and is a separate, distinct organization. Those interested in joining the winter team may contact the Lakota Family YMCA.
Our swim team offers not just excellent fitness training, but also:
• Good sportsmanship
• Self-discipline
• Physical coordination
• Goal orientation
• Outdoor summer fun in a comfortable pool environment
• And, most of all, long lasting friendships

*Pool closes at 4:00 pm for home swim meets. The swim team will be grilling and selling snacks. Come cheer your Swim Team on!
