CAMP ARROWHEAD (camp brochure)
Camp Arrowhead is designed to provide campers with a variety of experiences in a well- supervised camp setting. Each week will include a special theme with a field trip that corresponds with the weekly theme. Each day camper will participate in recreational activities including: arts & crafts, science & nature, drama, weekly camp newspaper, target sports, indoor & outdoor sports, a daily reading program and swimming.
Children are grouped by the grade that they will be going into in the Fall. Optional swim lessons and specialty ½ day camps are also offered as part of their day.
Camp Arrowhead is a great way for children to make life long friends while being active for the summer. Grades 1-7
Counselors-In-Training Camp
C.I.T.
This camp is designed for teens looking to gain experience working with others should consider the counselor in training program. C.I.T. responsibilities will entail taking the initiative to assist our counselors in daily activities, as well as being good role models. The staff of Camp Arrowhead will strive to enhance positive characteristics in the C.I.T.’s such as self-esteem, team building, creativity, motivation, communication, decision-making and leadership skills. The summer is designed to be a positive learning experience for everyone. Grades 8-10
Camp Arrowhead’s hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm. Extended Care is offered from 7:00am-9:00am & 4:00pm-6:00pm.
Cost for Camp Arrowhead is $130/week for Lakota YMCA members & $165/week for extended day. Non-members: $170/week & $205/week for extended care
C.I.T. Camp is $105/week for Lakota YMCA members & $135/week for non-members
