Lakota Shock Basketball
The Lakota Family YMCA is happy to host the Lakota Shock basketball programs. The Shock program is an excellent choice for the advanced basketball player looking for the challenge of playing against the area's best competition. The program houses select teams for Boys and Girls. The Shock winter league players compete in Area leagues and tournaments. Winter programs starts early October. Game play runs during the months of November- March. This is an excellent way to get your kids ready for spring AAU action.

Little Dribblers Basketball
1st and 2nd Grade
Little Dribblers is a program designed to teach young boys and girls the game of basketball. The focus of Little Dribblers Basketball is teaching the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting and more. This class has is taught in two 6-week sessions or a 12-week combo session. Both are held at the Lakota Family YMCA in our gymnasium. Each child will receive their own basketball.
Ages: 8 - 12 years old
The Lakota Family YMCA is sponsoring Youth Basketball Programs, “Y-Winners” for boys and girls in aged 8 - 12 years old. The program is designed to teach each player individual and team basketball skills with emphasis on participation and fun. The program will take place in the YMCA gymnasium. The first week starts with a basketball clinic, followed by individual and team building skills and practice sessions. Teams will then participate in a round robin schedule of league games. “Y-Winners” puts the sport, the game, the activity, winning or losing and personal success into proper perspective. Junior High and High School Traveling League Basketball
7th– 12th Grade
The Lakota Family YMCA is offering a traveling league for kids to participate in. The league is played around the greater Cincinnati area. Each game will be refereed by certified officials. Contact: Joe.Ayers@lakotatymca.com
